How to order a transfer
The booking process is simple:
- Indicate the route: Tel Aviv → Sheikh Hussein checkpoint (Jordan River).
- Select the date, time and type of car.
- Enter contact information (phone, e-mail).
- Receive a confirmation with a payment link.
Travel time and route
The road takes about 2-2.5 hours, the distance is approximately 130-140 km.
The route runs along highways #1 → #65 → #71, including sections through Hadera, Afula and Beit Shean. We select the optimal departure time to avoid traffic jams and queues at the checkpoint.
Along the way, you can see the cities of Petah Tikva, Hadera, Afula and Beit Shean.
The route runs through the Sharon Valley, the hills of Lower Galilee and the Jordan Lowland - the road pleases with open green landscapes and views of the countryside.
Information about the Sheikh Hussein (Jordan River) checkpoint
The border crossing is located near the city of Beit Shean and connects Israel with northern Jordan.
Working hours - usually from 08:00 to 19:00 (changes are possible on holidays).
On the Israeli side, a sanitary zone, a waiting room and parking are available. On the Jordanian side — currency exchange, purchase of SIM cards, local taxis.
Documents for crossing the border
- A passport valid for at least 6 months.
- A Jordanian visa (it is better to apply for it in advance — it is not always issued at this checkpoint).
- A receipt for payment of the Israeli exit fee.
- Medical insurance (recommended).
- If you are returning to Israel later — check whether you need a visa or permit.
