Taxi Border Crossing Taba Eilat

Geographically, the Taba crossing is very convenient – it connects Israel’s Route 90 with the Egyptian highway leading to Nuweiba, Dahab, and Sharm El Sheikh. The crossing is open to tourists, business travelers, divers, and locals who want to spend a weekend on the other side of the gulf.
On the Israeli side, there is a modern terminal with air-conditioned waiting halls, restrooms, currency exchange, vending machines for drinks and snacks. The border check is equipped for high traffic, but during peak times (holidays and summer), waiting lines can occur. Parking in front of the terminal is paid, and there is a dedicated area for passenger drop-off and pick-up. On the Egyptian side, you'll find a money exchange booth, mobile SIM card vendors, and a snack kiosk. There is no duty-free area between the gates, so plan purchases in advance.
